“All Elite Wrestling — a rival to WWE led by Tony Khan and family—is in the pool of potential buyers for WWE, a person close to the potential transaction told Barron’s, adding that the Khans will likely look for a financial partner to acquire the asset. If Tony Khan ends up buying WWE then Khan’s family will be the monopoly of pro-wrestling, but also it will take lot of capital out Khan’s purse which might not be good thing for future growth. Pro-Wrestling is not an easy business it requires lot of capital infusion by the owner in difficult times.
