by Bobby Roode’s last match in WWE was way back in 2022. He was taken out of television due to neck injury. He underwent neck fusion surgery. It was expected that after recovering he would return to the ring, but Bobby Roode had decided to do off screen roles in WWE. Bobby Roode is currently working as a producer in WWE.
Bobby Roode recently was on Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, where he talked about possibility of wrestling again.
“Ironically enough, I just got green-lighted. The fusion has completely fused. So as far as like, from a medical point of view, it’s safe to get back in the ring, I guess. But at almost 48 years old, given the opportunity that I’ve been given now to work as a producer, which was my goal coming to WWE almost eight years ago.”
“I’m quite happy doing this, and I feel like I have had a good run, as they say, and I’m happy to do what I’m doing now.”
