When he made his debut at AEW, it seemed like CM Punk might never return to WWE. So fortunately or unfortunately some incidents happened in AEW, which resulted in Punk returning to WWE.
CM Punk made his RAW appearance after close to a decade. CM Punk chants was all over the arena. CM Punk says on RAW that most of them are happy about his return but some people are not. Punk says he has returned to WWE to make money, not to make friends.
Wade Keller of PWTorch is reporting that CM Punk tried to approach everybody and was very nice and humble to wrestlers backstage.
PWTorch sources say that is absolutely accurate. Punk, according to multiple accounts, tried to approach everybody and was “very nice” and “humble” and “in a good mood.” One wrestler added, “But he knew he kinda had to be.”
“He seemed humbled,” said one wrestler. Another said everything “seemed pretty positive all around, but we’ll see in a couple months if it sticks.”
When Wade Keller asked whether people are skeptical about Punk being friendly. One wrestlers said ‘Yes’ to Wade Keller. Keller notes that according to his sources half of the wrestlers are iffy whether Punk’s behaviour would sustain.
