Drew McIntyre says he’s the one who is keeping CM Punk relevant

Drew McIntyre won Men’s Elimination Chamber match, and he’s set to face Seth Rollins for WWE World Heavyweight Title at WWE WrestleMania 40.

CM Punk got injured at WWE Royal Rumble. So he’s expected to be out of action for at least 6 months. It was rumoured that WWE had plans for CM Punk versus Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 40. It seems like Seth versus CM Punk is not happening anytime soon.

Drew McIntyre recently was on WWE’s The Bump, where he talked about CM Punk. Drew says CM Punk should be thankful for him for keeping him relevant.

“Too harsh? I think Punk and everyone should be thanking me. All his fans should be thanking me because I’m the one keeping him relevant right now by constantly talking about him. Not only that, I’ve dedicated my win at WrestleMania, the world title match to Punk, so if anything, I’m the good guy here. I don’t see the issue. Should be thanking me. Send me gifts, Punk.” (H/T: EWrestlingNews.com)
