Adam Copeland believes Christian Cage has made AEW TNT Title bigger than AEW World Title

Christian Cage is the current AEW TNT Champion. He is one of the most hated wrestlers in AEW. Christian Cage is set to defend his TNT Title against Adam Copeland on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Adam Copeland recently was interviewed by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, where he talked about Christian Cage’s TNT title reign. Adam Copeland feels Cage has elevated TNT Title.

“It’s the title that’s the most important thing in the world to Christian. When the title is involved, that should always be the lynchpin of a story. It should hold enough significance to break up a friendship.”

“That been lost in a lot of cases over the years, but I appreciate how he’s made the title important. His goal was to make it bigger than AEW world title. At this point, I believe he’s done it.”

Adam Copeland on why his match against Christian is not at PPV

“I’ve heard, ‘Why isn’t this at the pay-per-view?’ To me, where is more important than when. We get to do it in Montreal. There’s no other choice for us but to have it here. My family is coming for this one, cousins and relatives who’ve known Jay for years.

“There’s something special about doing it in Canada. I am really, really amped up to do this one. I truly think there’s not another story like ours, with this real story. Two friends from Orangeville, Ontario, who made it where we made it because of each other. I’m hoping this is a rabid crowd. This is what I dreamed of–working that guy in Montreal for a championship.”
