When he was asked about Kenny Omega’s promo after Dynamite went off air
“I heard Jim Cornette talk about that, I didn’t actually hear the comment, actually I was listening to Jim Cornette and they played the clip on it and I heard what Kenny Omega said and I mean yeah, It sounded like he was directing it at Punk. I mean Jim Cornette actually said that on his show that it sounded like that It was addressed to CM Punk and maybe to FTR. That’s the thing man, just think about it for a second, those guys are not buddies or anything like that, I don’t think they are friends, I don’t think CM Punk came in AEW, you know to friends with guys like Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks just because CM Punk is kind of a alpha, he’s the guy that’s gonna wanna be top guy and Young Bucks gonna wanna be top guy, Kenny Omega’s gonna wanna be the top guy. So I think it could be some friction right there with a guy like a Kenny Omega from just what it sounded like. It sounded like Kenny Omega saying. ‘hey, this is who we are, this is why we are doing this. What are you doing it for’ that’s what sounded like to me. I could be 100 percent wrong but it seemed like things are getting real in AEW as far as guys having real shoot, animosities towards each other.”
