After one year, CM Punk was reportedly involved in a backstage altercation with The Elites at AEW All Out 2022, since then CM Punk’s AEW time is getting worse and worse. During AEW All In 2023, it is reported that CM Punk and Jack Perry were involved in altercation backstage, the reports goes to extent saying CM Punk choked Jack Perry.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that there was no communication between CM Punk and Tony Khan after the backstage incident. Sean Ross Sapp notes that CM Punk is telling people that he hates AEW now, due to constant issues, people within AEW believe CM Punk is responsible for most of the issues.
