Seth Rollins recently gave an interview to ESPN MMA, where he talked about Roman Reigns, Matt Riddle fight pit match and more.
When he was asked about not getting title opportunity
“I’m at the top of my game right now, in my prime and 36 years young baby. I’m feeling good and most important part is that I’m as sharp as I ever been right here, and that what matters most baby. So it doesn’t matter if I’m getting title opportunities and it doesn’t matter if Roman Reigns doesn’t want to show up, if he’s Ducking and Dodge me it doesn’t matter. I’m the champion in my heart, I’m the champion in the people’s heart, and I’m just getting started.”
When he was asked about Riddle’s experience in Fight Pit
“I got to admit, you know Riddle and I, we have gone back and forth for a long time. I don’t got lot of respect for the guy personally, but professionally he can go, he really can go and this is his type of match, this is his domain he’s got the experience in there that I don’t have, but like I said there’s one thing that I got that he’s never gonna have and that is, a mental acumen for the fight game, he’s been doing this for a while, I’ve been doing this my entire adult life and so when it comes to stepping inside the cage, I’ve been in cages before I’ve been in Hell in a Cell before, I understand the rules are a little bit different inside the fight pit. But as they say where there is a will there’s a way, and I don’t like to lose. So I’m gonna figure it out whether you wanna help me or not, whether you’re gonna be on my side or not. I’m gonna get the job done. I’m gonna beat Riddle and then moving on.”
