John Cena, The Rock, and Undertaker interfered during the main event match. It was previously rumoured that Steve Austin could appear at Mania but he did not.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting WWE had plans for Steve Austin at WrestleMania but WWE and Steve Austin weren’t able to reach a financial agreement. So WWE decided to go with The Undertaker.
“Stone Cole Steve Austin was originally earmarked for the spot at the end of Cody Rhodes v Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, but in the end WWE & Austin couldn’t reach a financial agreement & as a result Undertaker was put in his place.”
