Triple H and Stephanie McMahon “opposed” the potential sale of WWE – (Report)

Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation from WWE couple of days ago, within a matter of hours WWE Board unanimously elected Vince McMahon as Executive Chairman of WWE. Everything was in a hurry.

Axios is reporting that according to their sources Triple and Stephanie McMahon opposed the sale of WWE.

Sources told Axios that Stephanie McMahon and her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the company’s chief content officer and a retired professional wrestler, had opposed a sale.

Stephanie McMahon tweeted the following message while announcing her resignation from WWE

Our Founder, Vince McMahon, has returned as Executive Chair and is leading an exciting process regarding strategic alternatives. And with Nick’s leadership and Paul “Triple H” Levesque as Chief Content Officer, I am confident WWE is in the perfect place to continue to provide unparalleled creative content and drive maximum value for shareholders.

WWE Universe loves Triple H, WWE rating has increased after WWE elevated him to Chief Content Officer. Fans will be disappointed if Triple H is removed from his position.
