Undertaker says WWE ring got softer after Vince McMahon started taking bumps

Undertaker is one of the greatest wrestler of all time. Undertaker was undefeated at WrestleMania for 21 years. The streak was ended by Brock Lesnar, but still it will be hard for any wrestler to surpass Undertaker’s WrestleMania record.

Undertaker and Vince McMahon have known each other for a very, very long time. Undertaker is kind of a friend for Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon has lot of respect for Undertaker.

Undertaker recently was on his Six Feet Under podcast, where he talked about Vince McMahon. Undertaker says ring got softer when Vince McMahon started taking bumps.

“The ring got a lot softer after Vince started taking bumps years ago. Those first generation rings with WWE were nothing more than glorified boxing rings. They freaking hurt, especially in the winter when your body is already stiff and it’s cold outside and you’re doing double shot days. The second show on a double shot day, your body doesn’t loosen up the second time the way it does the first time. Those were pretty snug, hitting some of those in cold arenas.” (H/T: Fightful)
