Ronda Rousey seemingly interested in taking over women’s tag team division alongside her best friend Shayna Baszler. Ronda Rousey is reportedly suffering from an injury. Ronda and Shayna Baszler are rumoured to win tag team title at WrestleMania 39.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that Ronda is not expected to recover 100% from her injury but she could be ready to wrestle. Meltzer also noted Ronda and Shayna will wrestle for women’s tag title at WrestleMania 39, irrespective of the title holders.
“They still have a tag title match, there’s gonna be two matches coming out of this program. Whoever are the champions will wrestle Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, but they’re also doing the six-woman. I don’t know if Kai and Sky are gonna win the belts back or it’s gonna be Lita and Becky Lynch. But Rousey and Baszler are still getting the tag team title shot as has been planned all along. And likely winning them, unless Rousey’s injury doesn’t heal, which they are right now of the impression that she’s not gonna be 100% healed, but the impression is that she will be ready to do the match.”(H/T: WrestleTalk)
