by WWE Board of Directors last week unanimously elected Vince McMahon as Executive Chairman of WWE. So it was anticipated that Vince would potential return back to his office.
RingSideNews was the first to report about Vince returning back to office, it also noted that Vince is bring back someone that WWE fired during his hiatus.
“McMahon wants to make sure he surrounds himself with the right people for the job. This included bringing someone back that WWE fired during his hiatus. We were told that he brought back Brad Blum as his Chief of Staff, 1 1/2 months after WWE released him.”
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer confirmed the report, it also noted WWE talent have been told on Friday that Triple H will remain in charge of creative.
“Ringside News first reported McMahon having been back in the office and suggesting changes, and we’ve confirmed that story as well. Talent was told on Friday that Paul Levesque [Triple H] would remain in charge of creative and Levesque threw out a scenario that Vince could make suggestions and he talks to several people about creative and they can make suggestions but he is the guy making the final calls.”
