Will Sami Zayn ‘leave or stay’ WWE if Saudi goes through buying WWE

Sami Zayn is one of the top baby face in pro wrestling right now, he worked really hard for lot of years to be in the position, he is know.

Sami Zayn is a Canadian-born Superstar of Syrian descent. Saudi Arabia and Syria are not in a good relation, so that could be the reason for Sami not wrestling or not invited to any Saudi’s show. Sami Zayn appeared in BlindBoy podcast in 2020, where he discussed not getting invited to Saudi event.

“WWE did a thing, a partnership sort of or signed some sort of deal to put on these shows in Saudi Arabia for I don’t know, what, 10 years or something like that. And I just wasn’t invited to go and I never really dug into it too much because I wasn’t keen on going to begin with, but I would like to discuss that… You know, it became very popular, very easy to say, ‘Well you shouldn’t go to this country because they do these awful things,’ and I understand it and I agree. And if I was asked to perform in Israel, I wouldn’t, right? But at the same time, I perform in the United States. And I live in the United States. So there’s that sort of dissonance to get your head around a little bit. So I don’t know, I don’t know. I don’t know how I feel about all of that.”(H/T: Post Wrestling).

Dave Meltzer recently in Wrestling Observer Radio says that Sami Zayn could not be happy about Saudi Buying WWE, Meltzer also noted that Sami recently signed a multi-year deal with WWE at very high dollar figure.

As far as the talent, I think it will make some of the talent uneasy, but they’re getting a big, big paycheck and ultimately, we’ve seen with the Saudi Arabian shows, I mean, there are only a few guys who didn’t go. Sami Zayn was unable to go, but also said that he didn’t want to go anyway. You know, he can not be feeling, it’s like he’s one of the MVPs of the company right now, or certainly one of them. He can’t be happy, but he also just signed a multi-year contract at a very high dollar figure.

Kevin Owens didn’t go out of loyalty to Sami Zayn, but the only ones who didn’t go, that are on the roster are those two and John Cena, right? He didn’t go the last time, because of Hollywood.”(H/T: RingSideNews)
