Andrade is currently signed with AEW, and his contract is set to expire soon. Andrade recently wrestled few matches in CMLL, which is a Mexican promotion. There are rumours that Andrade wrestled in Mexico because, if he returns to WWE, they wouldn’t allow him to wrestle there.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that some in WWE believes Andrade would return to WWE, but Meltzer also noted that he might choose AEW, if Tony Khan offers a better deal than WWE.
“Andrade talked to the press after the match and said he’s got a lot of open doors in 2024 and he’s not sure which one he’ll choose. I do know that those in WWE expect him to return. I also know those close to him who say that he may very well go back but is also open to stay if Tony Khan makes a better offer than WWE.
“He would also like to work New Japan and would have wanted to do FantasticaMania in February but it conflicts with his schedule.”
