WWE under Triple H regime are trying to do what’s best for the fans, if CM Punk is done with AEW, and if WWE and CM Punk comes to some sort of agreement then It would be possible to see Punk returning to WWE.
CM Punk recently in his Instagram story shared a old photo of him in WWE, and also he shared a photo of him and Mickie James, which paved way for more speculation. Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that CM Punk is still under AEW contract.
