by Finn Balor and Seth Rollins have known each other for a long time. Finn Balor wrestled Seth Rollins for WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam 2016. Finn Balor won the match and becomes the first-ever WWE Universal Champion.
Finn Balor’s Title reign did not last long, during the match Seth Rollins powerbombs Finn Balor onto the barricade, which resulted in Finn getting injured. Even though Finn Balor won the match, he had to relinquish the title on following week RAW due to injury.
Seth Rollins faced Finn Balor at WWE House show in Ottawa 8/19/23, eventually Seth Rollins won the match but Finn Balor attacked Seth Rollins after the match. Finn Balor was sitting in chair while Seth was laying in the ring helplessly.

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor maybe rivals on-screen but it seems like they are friend off-screen. Seth Rollins in a recent interview thanked Finn Balor for helping Becky Lynch to get into wrestling.
“A lot of people don’t know this, but Finn Balor is the person that trained my wife. He trained Becky Lynch, he brought her into the industry and so you know, I owe him a lot on a personal level. I may not have a wife and a family, if it wasn’t for him.
